THE W TIMES SQUARE
TIMES SQUARE
The first of Madison’s hotel developments and originally called the Planet Hollywood Hotel, was the 55 story hotel/retail and signage complex now known as the W Times Square. During 1996 and 1997 Madison Equities assembled and acquired the site to create this mixed use development of 562 guest rooms and a 37,000 SF retail area. One of the unique aspects of the property was a 300-foot high signage tower and its 70,000 square feet of displays which added significant additional value to the project. The development was later acquired by Starwood Hotels.
